The Team

Josep M Sobrepere

Josep is a crucial contributor at Parity Technologies since September 2021. He played a pivotal role in @substrate/connect and Polkadot-API projects. As the architect of Polkadot-API, he made @substrate/connect the first Polkadot Provider compliant extension. Additionally, he co-authored React-RxJS and contributed to key open-source libraries like RxJS and React-Router, and many more.

Victor Oliva

Víctor, a seasoned software developer and consultant since 2016, co-authored React-RxJS with Josep, successfully launching multiple trading platforms, some achieving a monthly volume of more than 12 billion USD. Víctor has made significant contributions to open-source projects like RxJS, chai, SockJS, webpack, and fakehost, with diverse side projects, including a rollup plugin for Polkadot-API.

Our Libraries

Polkadot-API:

Polkadot-API aims to surpass PolkadotJs by offering meticulously crafted, composable libraries aligned with a "light-client first" philosophy. It empowers decentralized app developers, enhancing the overall developer experience and setting a new standard for efficiency, adaptability, and performance in the Polkadot ecosystem.

React-RxJS:

The goal of this library is to create a set of bindings that bring this essence of Reactive Programming into React. With React-RxJS you will be able to declare the dynamic behavior of our state at the time of its declaration using RxJS streams. No stores. No context. Just reactive streams that integrate seamlessly with React.
